1You shall not spread a false report; do not join hands with a wicked person to be a malicious witness.2You shall not go after the many to do evil, nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to side with the many to pervert justice.3Do not favor a poor person in his lawsuit.4If you encounter your enemy's ox or donkey straying, you shall return it to him.5If you see the donkey of the one you hate lying down under its burden, do not leave it there—you shall surely help him with it.6You shall not pervert the justice due to your poor person in his dispute.7Keep far from a lying word, and do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I will not justify a wicked person.8And you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds those with open eyes and perverts the words of the righteous.9And you shall not oppress a stranger, for you know the nephesh of a stranger, since you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
